The award-winner of the 2016 BIOLOX® Award at the Käthe-Kollwitz School in Esslingen, Germany is Tabea Gutöhrlein. Ms. Gutöhrlein was recognized with the CeramTec Group EUR 250 BIOLOX® Award for her outstanding achievements in the field of biotechnology.

Jörg Kochendörfer, Manager Communications, presented the certificate and prize money at the graduation ceremony. In his speech, Jörg Kochendörfer noted that BIOLOX® advanced ceramics have set standards in orthopedics for over four decades. Also, components made from high-performance ceramics reliably do their duty day by day in many applications and apparatus. For the development of these products and technologies, CeramTec relies upon young, creative, and motivated skilled workers who are passionate about medical applications and biotechnology.

With the BIOLOX® Award, CeramTec wants to motivate these future specialists to further specialize in this field – maybe one day as an employee at CeramTec itself.
