CeramTec raises awareness of cancer at its locations worldwide with campaigns and awareness-raising measures.

In recent years, we at CeramTec have already supported the “Pink Ribbon Day” and drawn attention to the topic of breast cancer with colorful and creative campaigns. This year, for the first time, the concept will be extensively expanded – with the “Movember” (Moustache vs. November). The Movember is a global organization with its origins in Australia. Like Pink Ribbon in connection with breast cancer, its mission is to draw attention to typical “men's diseases” such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental illness, etc. and to focus on preventive measures.

Movember stands for…

  • the fight against prostate and testicular cancer
  • the prevention of suicide among men and
  • a sustainable influence on men’s health

Pink Ribbon stands for…

  • Precaution and education against breast
    cancer and
  • Support for those affected and their relatives

More than 5.6 million men worldwide live with prostate cancer.

More than one million breast cancer cases are diagnosed each year.

Young men between the ages of 15 and 40 have the highest risk of developing testicular cancer.

Grow A Mo,
Save A Bro

The older a man is, the more likely he is to be diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The crisis in men's health calls for bright minds and great solutions. But there is a smaller, hairier solution to the men's health crisis. A solution that you can grow yourself. It is under your nose.

Let this Movember grow a mo and you can do something about men dying too young – because your mo can also inspire donations and discussions and bring about real change.
