CeramTec-ETEC exhibited for the first time at IFAT ENTSORGA in Munich, the world's leading trade fair for the waste water, water, waste and recycling industry. The large number of attendees, many of whom were visitors from abroad, and the high demand for information clearly demonstrate the enormous need for wear solutions in the marketplace.
Exhibits that visitors were able to see and understand first hand, such as hose and compact bends and pipe elbows, helped them instantly recognize the weak spots in their own systems and encouraged them to seek answers to questions regarding novel solution approaches. Some guests even brought drawings and plans of their own systems so they could discuss the specific measures they could implement using ALOTEC® wear-protection ceramics to significantly improve service life.
German recycling technology is respected around the world for its high quality standards – a key aspect that is driving international demand. However, the increasingly dramatic scarcity of primary resources and the rising demand for secondary resources highlights the importance of expanding and refining existing recycling technologies.
Examples of weak spots in terms of recycling plant wear include bends, separators and pipelines. CeramTec-ETEC provides custom-designed, individualized solutions with its ALOTEC® advanced ceramics. Less wear means less downtime for plant operators, enabling them to use their systems more logically and efficiently. Processing and treatment is becoming more and more demanding while flow rates continue to increase, making solutions that feature high-grade wear-protection materials the technology of the future. But rising prices for raw materials also drive the recycling industry. CeramTec-ETEC was the only exhibitor at IFAT ENTSORGA with ceramic wear-protection materials.
