Top marks for wear resistance
Our forming tools which are used for example for the drawing, bending, expanding
or welding of tubes also get top marks for wear resistance and surface finish.
Here too, the good friction behavior of CeramTec high-tech ceramics allows
long tool life, their low tendency to diffuse and adhere prevents cold sets
and their hot hardness setting and thermal resistance properties reduce any
tendency towards plastic deformation.
