A combination of high-tech forming and high performance materials has made CeramTec one of the leading suppliers of solutions to problems in thread-guiding, forming and modifying yarns. Consequently, CeramTec is one of the biggest producers of spinning and textile machinery components at an international level. Our goal is to satisfy our customers’ need which is to produce higher quality and higher speeds.
Thermodynamics, friction, scuffing and electrostatic interaction during the production process, have created the demand for CeramTec’s Tribofil®. Tribofil® is a high-performance ceramic with new surfaces. Tribofil® is fiber-programmable and exceptionally wear-resistant. Even at the highest speeds, the Tribofil® surface remains gentle to fibers and yarns. Our ability to maintain the tightest specifications on the various geometries demanded by our customers, means that they can rely on the consistently high quality of our high-tech ceramics.
