Never-tiring sealing functionality, even after millions of motion cycles, and perfect ease of use are obtained by using a combination of high-quality, low-wear advanced ceramics.
Seal and Regulator Discs: More Than 50 Million Every Year
Annually, more than 50 million of our Ceramdisc® seal and regulator discs are installed as components in sanitary fittings, making us the market leader in this field. What makes us so successful are our advanced ceramics: their reduced sliding surfaces with their diamond-like hardness, their chemical inertia against acids and alkaline solutions, and permanent lubrication provide unmatched reliability and longevity. Solids carried in the water such as sand, rust, and lime are ground between the sliding surfaces and unable to impair the Ceramdisc® discs. Thanks to their dimensional stability, the Ceramdisc® discs remain absolutely flat and retain their sealing power practically indefinitely, even under fluctuating pressures and widely different water temperatures.
The Preferred Choice:
Seal discs, naturally, are at the heart of every mixing cartridge: now we provide the mixing cartridge too. Since the introduction of our triduon® Cartridge System, we have continually expanded our range for single lever faucets, for our OEM partners as well as for the retail market.

One lever, many temperatures: twin-disc ceramic technology that matches your cartridge design for single-handle mixers. From prototyping to individual customer specifications to volume production, we reliably offer outstanding dimensional accuracy and precision and durability.
In two-handle faucets, where hot and cold water are mixed after having already passed through the cartridge, our ceramic seal and regulator discs increasingly replace conventional seals. Our standard program comprises seal and regulator discs with a 90° opening angle (quarter turn) for 1/2“ and 3/4“ faucets, with reduced contact surface between seal and regulator discs to absorb contamination within the medium and make it easier to use, and with a 180° opening angle (half turn) to permit more precise flow and temperature control.
Our ceramic diverters, finally, make multiple adjustments possible with one simple move, like angle, flow, rate, and temperature – the preferred choice when renowned manufacturers design new fittings for showers, shower rooms, and waterparks.
