Feed-through insulators
Ceramic system components, including the
ceramic-to-metal joints, allow reliable
electrical feed-through insulators. The
illustrated ceramic feed-through insulator
shows an enclosing soldering and the
feed-through insulator soldering. Depending
on the material and on the pin dimensions,
a solid or hollow body can be used. It is
preferable to use a metal companion adapted
from the coefficient of expansion.
