The Chemical Applications Division, particularly with regard to Industrial
and Laboratory Ceramics, has a very long tradition. During the year 1914
the initial production of Laboratory Porcelain had commenced.
Due to the experience of many years and regarding the high quality of the developed materials, CeramTec is a reliable and qualified manufacturer of high-grade Laboratory Porcelain.
For standard DIN-articles respectably Evaporating Basins, Mortars with Pestles, Funnels, Crucibles and Lids, there is a set of national DIN-specifications.
Laboratory porcelain serves primarily for chemical analysis and preparative operations. CeramTec’s Labware is in accordance with DIN EN 60 672 Type C110. Our Evaporating Basins and Crucibles are very resistant against acids and alkalines, with the exception to hydro-fluoric acid.
