Always ready to carry the load: ceramics as substrates
Our experts have created ceramic materials which are characterized by their
high porosity. From such materials we make ceramic bodies which can take up,
store and then selectively release liquid substances. An effect used for
example in the evaporation of insect repellents and odorous substances or
for the detection of chemical substances through flame coloration in the
laboratory. We manufacture such elements from white, highly-pure ceramics
with different, application-specific but exactly defined degrees of porosity.
