CeramCell – Individual solutions for your ceramic SOFC system
CeramTec’s expanded portfolio of products for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC)
comprises both electrolyte (ESC) and anode supported (ASC) cells. The ASC range
of products features three types: ASC-LSM (lanthanum strontium manganite), ASC-LSCF
(lanthanum strontium cobaltite ferrite) and ASC-HC (half cell). The cells are based
on CeramTape, a flexible ceramic designed for multilayer technology.
CeramPaste, the paste program developed in-house at CeramTec, ideally complements
the company’s range of products.
The CeramTec Electronic Applications division develops solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) under the name CeramCell. CeramTec’s Electronic Applications division has been actively involved in the development of components for solid oxide fuel cells since as early as 1990 and today delivers the heart of the systems – the cells. These developments and the related experience make CeramTec a preferred project partner. This is why CeramTec signed a long-term cooperation agreement with the German subsidiary of the Australian company Ceramic Fuel Cells Ltd (CFCL), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of solid oxide fuel cells, on February 1st, 2008. The agreement is valid until December 31st, 2011.
