IKS-PRO clamping system
Increase in cutting speed and chip cross section result in higher loads on
the clamping system. The revolutionary clamping system IKS-PRO which is comes
from the development of our proven clamping system IKS was especially designed
to meet the demands of high performance machining. The IKS-PRO system is
fully compatible with our clamping system IKS. The unique double-notch design
offers the following advantages:
- optimum distribution of the clamping force by the IKS-PRO notch,
- form fit and frictional connection of notchtype insert,
- absolute secure insert position, also with draws cuts and varying directions,
- notch on both sides, even with an insert thickness of 4.76 mm – this saves costs, especially with solid SPK-WURBON® inserts.
