As a guide through the process of receiving a hip or knee joint replacement, we recommend the patient education brochure „Trotz Arthrose: Mit modernen Hightech-Gelenken wieder aktiv und glücklich,“ issued by the the German Foundation for Health Information. The brochure provides valuable information about the condition of arthrosis, about available joint replacements, and about the pre- and post-operative phases. And it gives practical advice on how to adapt to a life with an artificial hip or knee joint.
