Approach on the A 6 from the Heilbronn/Stuttgart direction:
Proceed along the A 6 to the Nürnberg-Ost (Nuremberg east) interstate highway intersection, where you turn onto the A 9 in the Bayreuth/Berlin direction. Stay on the A 9 until you reach the Lauf-Süd (south) exit. Leave the A 9 in the Lauf direction. Drive into the town. After about 1 km you pass under the suburban railroad (S-Bahn) and then meet an oval roundabout. Join the roundabout and take the second possible right turn (Luitpoldstrasse). Having crossed a junction controlled by traffic lights you will find the main gate of CeramTec on the left-hand side.
Approach on the A 3 from the Würzburg/Frankfurt or Regensburg direction:
Drive on the A 3 as far as the Nuremberg interstate highway intersection, where you turn onto the A 9 in the Bayreuth/Berlin direction. Stay on the A 9 until you reach the Lauf-Süd (south) exit. Leave the A 9 in the Lauf direction. Drive into the town. After about 1 km you pass under the suburban railroad (S-Bahn) and then meet an oval roundabout. Join the roundabout and take the second possible right turn (Luitpoldstrasse). Having crossed a junction controlled by traffic lights you will find the main gate of CeramTec on the left-hand side.
On the A 9 from the Bayreuth/Berlin or Munic direction:
Follow the A 9 direction as far as the Lauf-Süd (south) exit. Leave the A 9 in the Lauf direction. Drive into the town. After about 1 km you pass under the suburban railroad (S-Bahn) and then meet an oval roundabout. Join the roundabout and take the second possible right turn (Luitpoldstrasse). Having crossed a junction controlled by traffic lights you will find the main gate of CeramTec on the left-hand side.
By train ...
.. get off the train at the station Lauf rechts der Pegnitz.
Take the Bahnhofplatz exit at the station, then forking off opposite the station Bahnhofstrasse, then after about 30 m right into Poststrasse. Another 80 m, then left (at Plaerrer), then another 50 m, and you arrive at Friedensplatz from where you turn right into Nürnberger Strasse. Around 700 m along Nürnberger Strasse, then left to Schlachthofplatz, across the bridge and straight ahead along Luitpoldstrasse. After another 700 m, you arrive at CeramTec on your right (Luitpoldstr. 15).
... alternatively, you get off the train at the S-station (suburban rail) Lauf links der Pegnitz.
The station exit brings you to Eckertstrasse, go left down this and cross the bridge. Immediately after the bridge on the right is Altdorfer Strasse, then after almost 100 m left into Luitpoldstrasse. After a few meters you arrive at CeramTec on your left (Luitpoldstrasse 15).
