Milling Cutters with fixed pocket seat
Milling cutters with fixed pocket seats include face mills of series MKS and MES (negative geometries) as well as series MKD, MKE, MKP for positive insert geometries.
MKS
The face milling cutters of series MKS are available with approach angles
of 88°, 75° and 45° and diameters of 40, 50, 63, 80, 100 and 125 mm. Insert
styles are available also with ZZ-geometry (“wiper”). Surface
qualities Ra < 12,5 µm, 6,3 µm oder 3,2 µm can be achieved.
MES – the specialist for finishing
Highlight of the MES milling cutter: each individual insert can be adjusted
in heights separately – a feature which allows for highly precise
machining results to be obtained (Ra < 0,8 µm). The diameters of
milling cutters are 40, 50, 63, 80, 100 and 125 mm, the approach angle is 88°.
MKD, MKP, MKE
Milling cutters of series MKD (88°), MKP (75°) and MKE (45°) are designed for
axial positive rake angles for decreasing cutting forces and therefore enabling
machining of thin-walled parts with less workpiece stability.
Milling cutters of series MKD and MKP are available with diameters 50, 63, 80, 100 and 125 mm, milling cutters of series MKE are available with diameters 50, 63, 80 and 100 mm.
